Youthscape's Mission
As seen on the home page, our mission is to: Unite the World from the Ground Up.
Most landscape companies are there to do one thing: landscape--and there's nothing wrong with that! We admire their dedication to working hard in the sun and creating beauty using what nature has given.
However, as our founder looked around at different yards, he started seeing correlations between yards and people. For example: When a yard is well fed, watered, and weeded it thrives; and, when a person is well fed, watered, and has the negative influences removed, they thrive. This similarity can be seen at the different levels of neighborhoods, cities, and even our world.
Through this observation, our founder decided that, if he could help unify communities through a business, perhaps there would be a domino effect that would help unify the world. A lofty goal, right? Well it's one we want to see accomplished!
How better to do it than to start with the very idea that helped spark the movement: landscaping!

Based on our mission, our vision is to help spread this business model anywhere where there are people willing to teach, learn, and unite through the front of operating as a yard care business.
Why "from the ground up"? Because without a strong root system, the branches we build are likely to topple. This is why we seek to start with youth/young adults--because they are those who have the most fertile ground to build upon. Ground left untrod and open to new ideas. But really, we like to work with anyone who has this "young at heart" mentality--people who are willing to listen and learn and then, in turn, teach those around them.
