We wish there wasn't a need for this section. But just in case you try to get sneaky on us, we're going to include it.

First Service Free (Basic Yard Care)

First:

This means the very first time. Not the first time each month, the first time each year, or even the first time each decade (but maybe we'll have changed our minds by then, who knows?).

This also means the first time per owner of the house. Not per renter, not new relative calling in, just for a completely new owner. If you buy the house from your dad? Cool! We'll give you a new free service.

We do have one exception...did you have a major renovation done on your yard/house? Depending on how much that effects the yard we may be willing to give a new estimate, which always comes with that first service free!

Service:

This applies to the basic lawn service. It is so we can estimate the cost for different areas of your lawn correctly without overcharging on our first mow. We don't want to charge you what we're charging your neighbor, and here's why: Maybe your yard takes 20 minutes to mow and theirs takes 45 minutes. It's not fair for you to pay for his nice, large, lawn that you only get to enjoy on the once a year bar-b-q party! Anyway, if you have any questions about the breakdown of your cost, feel free to ask! 

We do not give any of our "extra specials" or larger services for free currently.

Free:

This is probably the easiest one to understand.
Free = $0.
Got it? Good!

Unfortunately we’ve had to add terms to our terms…If you know all you are looking for temporary service we ask that you pay for the first service. Change your mind and want us to return weekly? Great! We’ll refund your first week’s cost.
If your lawn is 6” or higher on your first mowing there is a $25 minimum. If it takes over an hour to mow there is a $50 minimum. As much as we wish we could do all first services completely free, we have learned that these special circumstances require special deals.

Tree Trimming

Trimming Terms:

At this time we are only able to offer limited trimming services. We will remind you of this when placing an estimate of how much it will cost to trim your trees. However, if you need services beyond what we are able to give, we will try and connect you to other services who are able to provide the help you need.

Consultation

Psychiatric Help 5 Cents:

Every consultation, from doctors to lawyers, is an educated opinion. Some are based on more facts than others. It is no different for a consultation from Youthscape. Though we have experience and love making your yard as beautiful as possible, we cannot guarantee that our consultations will present the only, the best, or even all of the options.

Damage Done

Our least favorite part of this section. But perhaps the most important.

We're people just like you! Not immortals, not gods, not even superheros (though if you ask Daniel, he'll say every one of the employees is a hero in his book). Point is, though we strive for perfection, we all make mistakes from time to time. So please, if we make a mistake, allow us time to remedy the situation.

A one-time mistake happens, but if there is a problem that is recurring, whether with incomplete service or damage, please let us know so we can fix the problem asap!

What Youthscape Doesn't Do

Something's Missing...

Currently there are a few services Youthscape does not consistently offer.* Hopefully, in the future we will be able to add these to the list of services, but for now we will have to try and point you to another provider for any of the following**: Tree trimming over ten feet; retainer wall building; planting trees or bushes larger than what one person could carry.

*We may decide to take on a job on a case by case basis, so please feel free to ask, however, we cannot guarantee service through Youthscape

Log Haul

Logs:

We will haul away all logs that we can carry/roll/lift onto a truck or trailer. Large-medium size branches are included. We can help sweep up anything smaller, but anything larger must be cut down to size or disposed of on your own. We will estimate a price only for the wood we know we can take.

If one of our members says a log is too big. That is final. Until it is cut to size, it will not be hauled away.

Bonus Content

You get $$$, and you get $$$, and YOU get $$$!

However, it will not come in green form, but rather a credit to your account. As explained in the pricing + services section, you can get $5 credit once for every time we come for a weekly service. A "weekly service" is any of our weekly packages that include the basic yard care service. This does not include any of our "extra specials".

We will honor every customer referred. So, if you refer 100 friends that all sign on for weekly services, you will still get the $5 credit for each one. However. instead of giving $500 credit all at once, you will receive $5 over 100 weeks of services. If you end services before this time, we will not be able to compensate the remaining amount.

While we can recommend subcontractors, we are not liable for any work that is done by these contractors unless they are working under a current contract of ours.
